Upon the request of the new cinema Quai10, the company Kraken Realtime, specialized in virtual and augmented reality, has developed a video game about the city of Charleloi. The game, called “Quai10”, plunges the player into the city, who then has to collect as many gold coins as they can in some well-known places in Charleroi.
This new video game was launched at the inauguration of the cinema of the same name: Quai 10, the Center of animated and interactive picture of Charleroi. This new artistic center that combines cinema and video games called on Kraken Realtime, a new start-up from Charleroi, for its expertise in augmented reality. The aim? Discover the city of Charleroi through a serious game that you can download on your smartphone or your iPad.
You are invited to walk through the city, passing by the famous Marsupilami statue, the train station or the police tower, to collect the gold coins that will enable you to travel through time and discover anecdotes about Charleroi.
Unlike the traditional static 3D (synthesis images and animations), in which you are only a spectator, Kraken Realtime solutions enable you to take part in your visualization and thus enjoy a unique, completely immersive and interactive experience. The company based in Gosselies represented Charleroi in Sao Paulo for the organization of the WorldSkills competition in 2019.
