Casa Valonia is an initiative to promote Wallonia and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation in all their facets: commercial, academic, cultural and tourist exchanges. It takes place every other year in Italy and Spain, and will be held for the first time this year in Malaga, a fast-growing digital hub focusing on the digital and creative industries.
In view of the success of the 2023 edition in Madrid, the theme of digital and creative industries will be repeated in 2025, but this time applied to three specific sectors:
- Health and MedTechs
- Tourism and smart cities
- Entertainment, sports tech and culture tech
The programme includes
- Visits to the Video Game Museum (OXO), the Andalusian Technology Park (PTA), the Malaga Digital Cluster, the University of Malaga (UMA) and the Video Game School (EVAD).
- B2B sessions
- Panels and round tables on the targeted themes
- A visit to Vodafone's R&D centre and business lab
- Numerous networking opportunities to develop contacts and partnerships between Walloon operators and their Spanish counterparts
