Masthercell is a spin-off of ULB, based in Gosselies (Charleroi), which produces cells for therapeutic use and regenerative medicine. The directors encountered success on an AWEX mission. Masthercell is to launch a joint venture in the north of Houston, Texas, with a pharmaceutical company originating from Texas A&M, called Kalon. The factory in Gosselies has actually been duplicated in Texas to complement Kalon at a high level in its production of traditional pharmaceuticals.
