I am the Event Manager for media magazine PeopleSphere whose primary target group is the HR sector. In this capacity, I regularly organise events in Belgium for HR managers, such as “happy lunches”, workshops or conferences, for which I need to find adequate infrastructures. While looking for venues in Wallonia (Liège and Mons), I visited the official website of Business Tourism in Wallonia - www.meeting-tourismewallonie.be, where I found an online request form. I filled out the form, specifying the needs of the event, which was then directly forwarded to the “Convention Bureaus” in Wallonia. That’s all It was as easy as that! I soon received responses, infrastructure proposals and contacts to facilitate the preparation!
So now, whenever I organise an event in a town I am not familiar with, I work with this professional team of assistants. It is not possible to know Wallonia in depth, so why not make use of the free advice of these professionals to help me find what I need, quickly and accurately.
