To celebrate the reopening of the BAM, Mons Fine Arts Museum, the City of Mons organises an exceptional event with the exhibition of 100 works, mainly large scale and rarely exhibited in Europe, of this artist who needs no introduction and is considered one of the greatest artists of the 20th century.

Some Belgian private collectors will also lend their works for this occasion.

More generally known as the spokesperson for consumerism, Andy Warhol is a far more complex personality. Gianni Mercurio, the curator of the exhibition, explores the spiritual and religious dimensions of the artist’s work.
