Wallonia, where health inspires innovation11/04/2019

Since 2010, Wallonia has been taking part in the BioEurope congresses, in their Spring or Fall editions. This international event is dedicated to the pharmaceutical and health biotech sectors, and attracts top and high level delegates from Europe, North America and Asia.

In Vienna, BES brought together over 2.500 participants, representing 1.500 companies, from 55 countries. Despite the large international attendance, Wallonia-Belgium was well represented with its now famous booth and 16 innovative companies, active as service providers for clinical trials and R&D, support companies, and biotech-pharma companies:

4Clinics – Aseptic Technologies – Asit Biotech– Astel Medica – BCI Pharma – CER Groupe – IMCYSE – Brussels South Biopark Dev – iTeos Therapeutics – Keyrus Biopharma – Kaneka Eurogentec – Novadip – Promethera Biosciences  - Syngulon – Univercells   and Vitricell.  - and to think these don’t include other flagship companies such as Celyad, Mithra and MaSTherCell

Walloon businesses are always open to new challenges, partnerships and opportunities, especially with international partners – ask your closest Counselor for additional information.

Being present in these congresses is also a great opportunity for AWEX, the Export and Investment Agency of Wallonia, to explain the benefits and incentives our region can offer to foreign companies looking to invest or relocate their activities. Ask the latest convinced: Graftys, Orgenesis, or Minoryx!

Finally, our partner BioWin, the health cluster of Wallonia, was able to meet multiple foreign companies and clusters to promote the health environment in Wallonia and discuss possible partnerships (business, R&D, European Projects, etc.).

So come visit our booth at BioEurope 2019 in Hamburg (November), BIO in Philadelphia (June) or BIO Japan in Yokohama (October), and #FeelInspired.
