To mark the 150 years of diplomatic relations between Belgium and Japan, the gallery Contretype (Contemporary Art Centre for Photography) is joining forces with Wallonia-Brussels International to organise the exhibition "Impressions japonaises" from 27 January to 27 March.
This exhibition brings together seven Belgian and Japanese artist-photographers who all reside in Belgium. Most of them offer us a personal look at Japanese life and culture through their unique perception of the intimate or of beautiful scenery.
