"The Brand New Testament" in the running for a Golden Globe

The list of films selected as contenders for the Golden Globes, the second most prestigious film awards, has been announced in Los Angeles. The Brand New Testament is nominated for Best Foreign Film. The results will be known on the 10th of January.

The Golden Globes are American film awards, presented annually since 1944 by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). These prestigious prizes are awarded by a jury of 90 specialist journalists from 55 countries. Every year, they reward the best films of the year and are considered as an important event in the run up to the Oscars.

This nomination is a very encouraging sign for The Brand New Testament, chosen as the Belgian entry for the best foreign film Oscar. It’s up against Mustang (France), The son of Saul (Hungary), The Club (Chile) and The Fencer (Finland).
