This year, Ice-Watch can boast about its exciting new partnership with Moulinsart and its iconic character, Tintin. But that's not all, the company has recently added the famous footballer Eden Hazard to its list of ambassadors.

At the international trade show for watchmaking, "Baselworld", the CEO of Ice-Watch, Jean-Pierre Lutgen, and Nick Rodwell, Managing Director of Moulinsart, made their partnership official by presenting the first collection of watches featuring Tintin and his associates.

The watches will be available in jewellery stores belonging to the Ice-Watch network, on the Moulinsart website and in their museum stores. The collection is varied with a range of 24 coloured watches with different themes: the leading characters, Tintin's first adventure in the Land of the Soviets (1930) and his moon adventure (1953).

The combination of Tintin and the colourful watches by Ice-Watch promises to be successful for both brands.

Ice-Watch also pulled off another big coup this year, by associating its image with the captain of the national football team, Eden Hazard. The player and the watch brand formalised their partnership just a few months before the World Cup in Russia.

The figures for Ice-Watch are good at the beginning of 2018 and success is on the cards. Last year, the company invested some 3 million euros in a social network campaign. More recently, it has signed contracts with new distributors in Canada following a trade mission to the country.
