Opening of the festival in Hanoi (c) DGWBHanoi

The Vietnamese capital, Hanoi, hosted the 2nd decentralisation of the Mons International Love Film Festival. Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, launched its 1st edition. It was a success in both cities.

The Vietnamese capital hosted over 600 audience members for the 2nd edition of the decentralisation, from 8 to 11 September, and the Cambodian capital, over 200 film-lovers, for its 1st event from 9 to 12 September.

In Phnom Penh, the opening of this cultural event was honoured by the presence of H.E. Mrs Phoeurng Sackona, the Cambodian Minister of Culture and Fine Arts.

Four films by creators from different backgrounds, selected from the best of the Mons International Love Film Festival 2017, were screened: La fille (Iran), La fille inconnue (Wallonia-Brussels - Belgium), Marija (Germany - Switzerland) and Aurore Tabort (France). The General Delegate of the Mons International Love Film Festival, who was present this year in Phnom Penh, led fruitful discussions and meetings.

Join us next March in Phnom Penh and in September in Hanoi!
