Last week, at the closing ceremony of the "Paris Courts Devant" Festival, the Belgian web serie Burkland took the Web Series Award.
Produced by RTBF Webcréation, Burkland was one of 10 web series selected by the festival, and was the only Belgian production among several French series. Once again, Belgium has distinguished itself abroad.
The "Paris Courts Devant" Festival focuses mainly on short films and is also open to new forms of production such as web series. This year it features 360-degree fiction for the first time.
This was the fourth award for Burkland after it won two at the Marseille Web Fest ("Best director" and "Best editing") plus an award at Liège Web Fest.
RTBF Webcréation ends 2016 with 12 awards, taking all types of production into account.
