The Wavre-based company has just bought its direct Spanish competitor The Briefers. The company will now be called Sortlist.es and will be based in Madrid. Sortlist is now expanding to southern Europe, having opened offices in Paris and Ghent.

2017 had already got off to a good start for Sortlist, founded three years ago, as it was declared profitable at the start of the year. With the purchase of The Briefers, its managers are demonstrating the company's good financial health as well as their desire to extend their reach in Europe.

"Our ambitions in Spain are clear and we are going to take the time we need to achieve them. At the same time, we are already looking towards the European market as a whole", declared Nicolas Finet.

Sortlist already has 20 employees and several posts need to be filled immediately. The business is predicting a 30% increase in turnover in the last quarter of 2017 and plans to raise a significant amount of capital at the end of the year to achieve its ambitions.

Sortlist was founded in 2014 by Nicolas Finet, Thibaut Vanderhofstadt, Charles De Groote and Michael Valette. It is a match-making company between agencies and businesses for marketing and advertising services. Businesses describe their needs and agencies on the platform offer their services; the entire process is guided and managed by the Sortlist team.
