30 years and a new subsidiary in Poland for Spacebel

Created in 1988, Spacebel, a company working in the space systems and active software engineering sector based in Seraing (Liege), has just created, in collaboration with the Polish company N7 mobile, the N7 Space subsidiary based in Warsaw.

Last December, Spacebel, a company based in Liege, decided to set up in Poland where it had just opened the subsidiary "N7 Space" in collaboration with the SME's space division, N7 Mobile. The latter, which is registered in the European Space Agency's tenders' system, supplies services associated with the design and implementation of software for embedded systems and participates in space activities conducted in Poland. In particular, it gained its experience through the "Solar Orbiter" and ESEO satellite projects to which it contributed.

Spacebel and N7 Mobile, both experts in their fields, have already worked together several times on various ESA projects and appreciate each other's mutual skills. Spacebel is already well established in Wallonia, Flanders and France, but its association with a young Polish SME which is investing enormously in the European space sector, as well as the opening of this new N7 Space site, will allow it to increase its activities and make itself more widely known.

A wonderful birthday gift for the start of 2018, since Spacebel will be celebrating its 30th anniversary. 30 years of experience during which it has contributed to the success of more than 40 space missions that aim to improve our understanding of the Earth and the Universe. It has a great deal to offer in the space sector. For example, it develops and maintains software which allows intelligent space systems to work independently, offering emergency solutions in the event of a malfunction or equipment failure. This is just one of the many functions that are constantly evolving.
