Apple pleasantly surprised the Mons company Creaceed while presenting its new iPads on 16 October. The keynote speech, which was followed by millions of fans and devotees of new technologies, highlighted an application designed and developed by Creaceed.
Apple's Marketing Director Phil Schiller presented a number of applications during the demonstration of the new iPad Air 2. Prizmo was mentioned as an example to illustrate the possibility and ease of performing text recognition using the tablet's OCR technology and camera.
Prizmo is an application that acts as a "pocket scanner". This mobile application on iOS and OS X offers an innovative scanning experience for Macs, making it possible to scan all types of document and perform character recognition. It is offered in more than 40 languages and is available to all.
The Mons company was founded by two enthusiasts in 2008. Two employees have since joined, making a team of four. When developing their applications, the team focuses on simplicity and ease of use, combined with elegance. Although its very name, Creaceed, emphasises creativity, the business's expertise promotes innovation.
True global recognition for this SME.
